COVID-19 UPDATES

March 22 Our Sunday Service will be online to be broadcast live at 11 am. In keeping with the CDC guidelines no more than 10 people should congregate. That being said, just the Worship Team will be there for the live Broadcast, BE SAFE EVERYONE and my God Bless us all.

Hello TCCC Family,

​

In light of the impact of COVID-19 situation in our area, the leadership of Tidewater Christian Church of Christ have decided that this Sunday, March 15th will be a "NO HUGS - NO HANDSHAKE - NO POTLUCK" Sunday. However, if you are not feeling well, or are not comfortable coming this Sunday to worship because of health concerns, we advise and encourage you to PLEASE JUST STAY HOME (per CDC recommendation)! God will not hold you accountable for missing Sunday service because He knows what situation you are in. More importantly, God sees what's in your hearts and motives. Of course the doors are open to those of you who wanted to join us for worship at the building.

Friends let me tell you this, I believe in Romans 8:31 (NLT) saying "...if God is for us who can ever be against us." But I also believe in Proverbs 27:12 (NLT) which says, "A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences."

These are really good wisdom coming from God's word. I know some see the Coronavirus as an over-hyped virus, some are fearful, and some are in an at-risk category and need to be very careful. No matter where you are on that spectrum, I believe that BEING PRUDENT AND TAKING PRECAUTIONS IS A WISE MOVE. I believe this is what God's church at TCCC is going to do- TO MOVE THOUGHTFULLY AND TO MOVE WITH OUR GOD-GIVEN WISDOM FOR DISCERNMENT.
